Microsoft’s GrowthX Accelerator Completes The Fast Forward Challenge

Microsoft announced its support to the Fast Forward Challenge to be launched by Logistics Middle East and DHL Innovation Centre for the Middle East and Africa in February 2022, to promote innovation in the logistics and supply chain sectors. Microsoft for Start-ups, the $500 million project helping pre-revenue start-ups by developing cloud-based software solutions to accelerate their entry into the market.


The first winner will be fast-tracked & automatically considered for Microsoft’s GrowthX Accelerator programme. This will allow them access to required technology solutions, key businesses and Microsoft partners across the market, as well as comprehensive advice on participants’ readiness for investments, should their resolution align with one of the programme’s challenges.


3 months programme includes technology workshops, knowledge sharing, community building and industry networking events. And it will help entrepreneurs to make close relationships with key decision-makers and adjust their tech solutions to meet the rapidly evolving market needs.


The Fast Forward Start-up Challenge mainly focus to identify and support rising start-ups with ground-breaking solutions to key industry challenges, especially in automation, bionic enhancements, sustainable logistics, supply chain visibility, advanced wearable technology, and security.


The challenge offers the first winner a chance to win mentorship sessions from industry leaders, media coverage from Logistics Middle East and DHL, and a chance to implement their proof of concept, among other prizes worth $100,000. Applications will be accepted until 31 January and shortlisted nominees will be announced on 5 February.
